NYPD praises Officers Webb, Joseph for catching Brooklyn assault suspect

The NYPD is praising two officers for catching a man who allegedly assaulted a pregnant woman.  Police say the victim was walking down Monroe Street when she was punched in the face last week.

The NYPD is praising two officers for catching a man who allegedly assaulted a pregnant woman. 
Police say the victim was walking down Monroe Street when she was punched in the face last week. 

 

Officers Webb and Joseph, who are assigned to the 81st Precinct in Bed-Stuy, went after the suspect after witnesses notified them of the attack. 
They managed to catch the 33-year-old man, who has been charged with assault. 
The victim was treated for her injuries at the hospital.
