Police say the woman seen on camera abandoning a baby outside a Longwood home was the child’s mother.
They say 26-year-old Delfina Galvez is facing multiple charges, including reckless endangerment and abandonment of a child.
The video shows a person carrying a green reusable bag with a bundle of white blankets inside. Police say they are searching for the person in the video in connection to the discovery of the abandoned baby.

The baby was found wrapped in blankets inside of a tote bag on the doorsteps of 1102 Reverend James Polite Ave. The owner of the home told News 12 Sunday that he found the infant on his doorstep alive and naked - he also says the baby may only be a few days old.

Police tell News 12 the child was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive. At this time no arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
