NYPD rushes to aid of woman stranded in Erie Basin waters

NYPD officers rushed to the aid of a woman who was stranded in the water at the Erie Basin on Tuesday.
Body cam footage shows the officers helping the woman just after 7 a.m. One officer is seen holding on to the 20-year-old woman's hand from land. Harbor Patrol officers were also at the scene on a boat as a second officer came to help pull the woman to safety.
At this time, police believe she jumped in the water.
