NYPD sergeant charged with rape, sexual misconduct
An NYPD sergeant has been arrested after authorities accused him of having sex with a 14-year-old girl.
Sgt. John Dosseau, 43, was arrested Wednesday on several charges that include multiple counts of rape and sexual misconduct with a minor. He has already posted a $100,000 bond.
Officials say the two met online and maintained a sexual relationship for three years.
Dosseau is an NYPD sergeant in the 94th Precinct in Greenpoint.
