yesterdayAuthorities say a woman was fatally stabbed Friday morning in Sunset Park.
According to investigators, police responded to a call about an assault on 42nd Street and 4th Avenue. They found the 25-year-old woman unconscious with a stab wound to her chest.
She was rushed to a Maimonides Medical Center where she died.
A 36-year-old man has been identified as a person of interest, and he is in police custody.
