Police are looking for the person who stabbed a man early this morning in Flatbush.
The incident happened around 5:14 a.m. at a deli on Church Avenue.
According to police, a 30-year-old man was stabbed once in the chest and once in the arm.
The man was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
Police say it started as a dispute inside of a deli between two customers and one of them pulled out a knife and stabbed the other.
Police are looking for a suspect wearing a black jacket, black pants and black Crocs who fled in a silver sedan.
Neighbors say they aren't surprised.
"It’s unfortunate that these things happen," said Ronald Nesbit, who lives nearby. "They have a lot of police there. They have a lot of security, but it’s needed unfortunately because sometimes the streets are kinda uncertain and dangerous. It was peaceful last night. This morning, I see this -it doesn’t surprise me."
