Police: Man dead, woman injured in Fordham double shooting 



Authorities say the woman was shot in the hand on Webster Avenue. The male victim, who police have identified as Thomas McCellan, was shot in the torso.

Police a say a 28-year-old man is dead and a 26-year-old woman in recovering at a local hospital after a shooting in Fordham Saturday night.

Police say it all happened around 10 p.m. when they received a call about an assault near Webster Avenue.

Authorities found 28-year-old Thomas McCellan with a gunshot wound to the torso and a 26-year-old woman with a gunshot wound to the hand. 



Both victims were rushed to a local hospital, unfortunately McCellan did not make it. 

Authorities say the 26-year-old woman is in stable condition. 



No arrests have been made at this time as the investigation continues.
