NYPD: Suspect wanted for igniting fire at Jewish restaurant in Williamsburg

Police say a man walked up to Shalom Japan restaurant on South 4th Street and ignited a fire to two window tarps that displayed the Star of David on Nov. 18.

Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man who started a fire at a Jewish restaurant in Williamsburg last month.
Police say a man walked up to Shalom Japan restaurant on South 4th Street and ignited a fire to two window tarps that displayed the Star of David on Nov. 18.
No injuries were reported, according to authorities.
