Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect who they say stabbed an 18-year-old man at the A C subway platform at the Broadway Junction station early Saturday morning.

Police say the male suspect approached the victim and started an argument that turned violent around 5 a.m.

Police say the man punched the victim in the left eye with brass knuckles, causing bruising, swelling on the face and fled the location on foot on a northbound A train.

The 18-year-old also suffered a stab wound to the back. He was taken to an area hospital where he was in stable condition as of Sunday night.
