NYPD: Suspect wanted for violent attack, attempted rape in Flatbush
Authorities believe he tried exposing himself to a woman but stopped when a bystander intervened.

Police say a man is wanted after violently attacking a 36-year-old woman in Flatbush.
According to the NYPD, the woman was walking down Clarkson Avenue when the suspect started talking to her. Shortly after, police say he pushed her to the ground, climbed on top and began choking her.
Authorities believe he tried exposing himself to her but stopped when a bystander intervened.
The victim suffered minor physical injuries.
Anyone who recognizes the man is asked to contact police.
