NYPD: Suspected bodega shooter arrested
A man shot two other men in a Red Hook deli Tuesday morning before police arrested him, investigators say.
Harry Austin, 42, allegedly shot two employees at the Mill Street bodega around 8:40 a.m. after an argument with one of them. Police arrested him near the scene.
They accuse him of shooting Maged Noman, 33, and Ramon Falu, 52 — each in the stomach.
They say both are in serious but stable condition. Noman, who is from Yemen, has only been working at the bodega for a few weeks.
Austin has nine prior arrests, police say, but the most recent was back in 2008 for robbery.
