Man charged with stealing $24K worth of items from Home Depots in Nassau County

Police are asking for the public’s help identifying two men who pickpocketed a 71-year-old woman in Bushwick on Oct. 19.

Authorities say the victim was in her car on Hart Street around 1:30 p.m. when one of the suspects approached her and initiated a conversation.

While she was distracted, the other man reached into the vehicle and took her purse containing cash and credit cards.

Police say the duo was last seen leaving in a white BMW SUV.
