Brooklyn residents enjoyed a slice of pizza with NYPD officers from the 61st Precinct and AM Novakov to share their community concerns.

Many residents told News 12 some of the concerns they have in Sheepshead Bay involve double parking, traffic in bike lanes and people driving at dangerously high speeds.

Officers at the event at V & S Pizzeria say these events are very meaningful.

“I think I think it’s a great thing to be able to come out and talk to everybody," said Sgt. Jesse Peterford, of the 61st Precinct. "Everybody in the community always has some kind of an issue or something that they need fixed, and if we can talk to them about it while we are eating pizza."

Residents can contact the 61st Precinct to share concerns or visit them in person.
