It's nearly time to re-enroll in the Affordable Care Act, commonly known as Obamacare, for 2015. 

Open enrollment begins on Nov. 15, and New York has published an instructional video designed to help you understand how to re-enroll in the state's health care exchange or update your coverage. 

State officials say households will receive a notice detailing the types of coverage each person qualifies for based on income, and will explain how much your current plan will cost in the next year. 

If you don't want to make a change, you don't need to take any action. However, if your income or family size will change, then you must update your account. You can do so online, by phone or in person. 

It's been one year since the rollout of the government's new health care website was overshadowed with technical glitches. Federal health officials are promising a "smoother and faster" signup process this time around.
