Many supporters of immigration reform are expressing satisfaction over President Obama's executive order, while others are wishing he went further.
News 12 Brooklyn spoke with residents to find out what they think about the president's immigration reform.
Donna Burnett is a 41-year-old mother of two who came to the U.S. from Guyana on a visitor's visa.
Burnett says she is glad to see the president take action because she believes it will help a lot of people.
However, Republican Rep. Michael Grimm. who represents part of southern Brooklyn, has a different view.
Grimm issued a statement stating, "The president's unilateral executive order does nothing except create a class of non-citizen residents that further complicates our already convoluted immigration system."
