Hundreds of Occupy The Bronx protesters showed up at a 40th Precinct community meeting at Lincoln Hospital today. The protesters say they're outraged after five demonstrators were arrested over the weekend while rallying at Morning Glory Garden. They were there to oppose its demolition. At today's meeting, the protesters said they deserve respect and demanded that the charges be dropped against the five who were arrested.
Organizers say they plan on attending the next monthly meeting and occupying different parts of The Bronx every Saturday until all of their needs are met.
