A police officer fired their gun during an investigation into an armed carjacking incident Tuesday night in Midwood.
Police sources say officers responded to a report of a victim’s car being taken at gunpoint near Avenue O and East 151th Street.
It is unclear why or when the officer discharged their weapon. However, no injuries were reported.
Two suspects were taken into custody at the scene. No charges have been announced as of Wednesday morning.
