Police have revealed the name of the officer accused of fatally shooting an unarmed teenager in Missouri.

Ferguson Police Chief Thomas Jackson identified Darren Wilson as the cop who shot and killed 18-year-old Michael Brown in a St. Louis suburb last weekend. His name had previously been withheld due to death threats.
Jackson says Wilson is a six-year veteran, and that no disciplinary action has been taken against him.
Police have said that Brown was shot after a struggle with the officer, but witnesses tell a different story, claiming that the teen was shot multiple times as he surrendered and tried to get away.
Thousands of people across the nation held vigils for the teen Thursday night, including one in Bed-Stuy's Fulton Park where protesters held signs reading "who do you protect" and "don't shoot."
