FDNY: Concourse Village fire injures 2 people, including 1 critically

A fire tore through an apartment building on 164th Street in Concourse Village, leaving two people injured.

A fire tore through an apartment building on 164th Street in Concourse Village, leaving two people injured.
One of the injured is currently in serious condition and was transported to Bronx Lebanon Hospital, according to the FDNY. The other person injured is also at Bronx Lebanon Hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
The fire started around10 p.m. Video shows flames pouring out of the fourth floor of the residency. Over 100 firefighters were there to put out the fire that kept going through 11 p.m.
The FDNY is currently investigating the cause of the fire.
