Officials: Elderly woman shot in East Flatbush

An older woman was shot in the arm in East Flatbush on Monday evening, according to the NYPD.
According to the FDNY, a call came in to report the shooting just before 7 p.m. at the intersection of Brooklyn and Foster Avenues.
Police say the victim, an 84-year-old woman, was struck by gunfire in her left arm. She was brought to a nearby hospital and is in stable condition.
No arrests have been made at this time.
