A local pilot is uninjured after making an emergency landing at Bridgeport's most popular park Wednesday evening.
Fire officials say the plane radioed the tower at Sikorsky Airport to say it was running out of fuel.
The pilot landed safely in the south end of Seaside Park near the beach, which was not crowded.
The pilot was not hurt and is cooperating with the investigation.
Crews are working to get the small plane out of Seaside Park and back to the airport.
