Investigators say the fire at a Prospect Heights apartment building that killed four people was intentionally set.
Autopsies are scheduled to be performed Saturday on two women and two young girls who died in the fire Friday. Officials say one of the women died when she jumped from the building to the street. Two others were hurt escaping the fire. The fire department conducted tests to determine whether the fire on Pacific Street was caused by a flammable liquid.
Another fire broke out at an apartment a few blocks away Friday and there was a fire on the same street last week. Fire officials are investigating if they are related.
