Police arrested a man they say threw an object that hit a 12-year-old girl inside Barclays Center.

The incident happened on Aug. 5 during a game between the New York Liberty and Dallas Wings. Charles Burgess, 32, threw an object that hit a 12-year-old girl in the leg. Police sources confirmed that the object was a sex toy.

Burgess, who is from Ohio, was on the run but was finally arrested on Wednesday and charged with two counts of assault.

The girl sustained pain in her leg from the assault but was not hospitalized.
