Empanadas taste good, but they taste even better when they're put to good use.

Island Empanada is offering 15% from all sales from each store on Long Island to a Ukrainian church in Lindenhurst.

The owner tells News 12, a little bit goes a long way if you add up all of the proceeds.

“That was our mindset in trying to help out the people of Ukraine. There’s just so many refugees who are going to need monetary support so that was our mindset to just try and help out in any way we could,” says owner Roy Pelaez.
