Broadway is raising the curtain on a busy fall season of plays and musicals.

At least 10 shows - either Broadway premieres or revivals - are scheduled to open between September and December.

Rock icon Melissa Etheridge is bringing her autobiographical “My Window” to Broadway’s Circle in the Square Theatre. The Grammy Award winner debuted the show off-Broadway last year at New World Stages where she weaves stories about her life through many of the songs that made her famous.

Leslie Odom, Jr. will return to Broadway for the first time since his Tony Award-winning turn as Aaron Burr in the musical "Hamilton." In his first Broadway play, Odom will take on the title role in "Purlie Victorious: A Non-Confederate Romp Through The Cotton Patch." The play was previously performed on Broadway more than 60 years ago and was written by theater legend Ossie Davis.

The original stars of "Book of Mormon" are teaming up again in the musical comedy "Gutenberg The Musical."n Andrew Rannells and Josh Gad play a pair of writers who ineptly attempt to act out a show they've written about printing press inventor Johannes Gutenberg.

Danny DeVito will return to Broadway this time alongside his daughter, Lucy DeVito, in the play "I Need That" about a hoarder facing eviction.

"Harmony," some 25 years after it was first performed, will at least make its Broadway debut this fall. With music composed by Barry Manilow, it is the story of a singing group in Nazi Germany that included Jewish performers.

And the list of notable shows includes the revival of Stephen Sondheim's "Merrily We Roll Along" starring Daniel Ratcliff.

And there'll be Broadway premieres for "Jaja's African Hair Braiding," set in a Harlem salon "Appropriate" starring Sarah Paulson. There's also "How To Dance in Ohio" featuring a cast of actors with autism. And there is the much anticipated revival of the Monty Python spoof "Spamalot" coming later this fall.
