A true New Jersey gem is rising from the dead just in time for Halloween.
The Lizzie Rose Music Room is a tiny, 70-seat music venue inside the Lizzie Rose - an 1846 Victorian built as a customs house when the borough of Tuckerton was a major seaport.
For seven years, the nonprofit venue hosted five to eight shows per month, ranging from tribute bands to world music, country and blues acts.
But then the COVID-19 pandemic struck, and the Lizzie Rose went silent.
On today's "Brian's Positively New Jersey,” we tour one of New Jersey's most unique and intimate concert halls as its founder prepares for a big post-COVID come back and asks for the public's help - via a GoFundMe campaign - to help make it happen.
