One year after Ida, Mamaroneck to hold flood mitigation meeting

The Village of Mamaroneck is hosting a meeting next week to inform residents about what initiatives are being taken to mitigate flooding since Hurricane Ida a year ago.

The Village of Mamaroneck is hosting a meeting next week to inform residents about what initiatives are being taken to mitigate flooding since Hurricane Ida a year ago.
A flyer posted by the village says there will also be an announcement from the governor's office about new funding available for homeowners and renters.
The meeting will be at 7 p.m. Sept. 14 at the Mamaroneck Avenue School at 850 Mamaroneck Ave.
They are asking people to submit specific questions through an online form and the deadline for that is this Friday at 5 p.m. Tickets are not required for the meeting.
