Thousands of cases of a popular sports drink are being recalled in dozens of states nationwide.

Pepsico initiated the voluntary recall late last month for more than 122,000 cases of Gatorade, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

The company says the affected products may contain undeclared dyes Yellow No. 6 and Yellow No. 5.

28 oz. bottles of Gatorade Lemon Lime, Lemon Lime Zero, Orange and Orange Zero are included, the FDA alert says.

Deemed a Class II recall, meaning exposure can lead to temporary or medically reversible adverse health effects, and serious consequences are remote.

These Gatorade items were sold in 37 states, including New York and New Jersey.

Pepsico did not offer details about whether or not refunds would be available to consumers.
