Before the G train shutdown News 12 spoke with businesses worried about surviving it.
At the time, the owner of Citroen, Dawn Eldridge, told News 12 she was bracing for the shutdown.
Eldridge says there's been a 90% reduction in business since the shutdown. She's considering closing down on weekends for the remainder of the shutdown.
"Ten weeks of not having a train is a death sentence. I know several businesses are closing. It's happening every week," said Eldridge.
A marketing agency in the neighborhood poked fun at the shutdown with a sign that read "Please please please bring back the G train." Staff there says it hasn't been impacted much.
