Thousands of people gathered on Saturday to celebrate the Haitian Culture with a parade and a street fair on Flatbush Junction.
Organized by Life of Hope, the annual event celebrates the history and beauty of Haiti, and recognizes the economic, cultural and accessibility barriers experienced by the community.
Haiti is facing trying times with protests and gang violence on the streets.
