Every Saturday, students from P.S. 359 in Concourse Village take part in sports and arts programs created by the Parents’ Association.
Established in 2013, the nonprofit has since then been providing different programs for the students as well as the parents of P.S. 359. Parents of students are automatic members and can volunteer to teach classes or organize activities for the students every Saturday.
Members of the association say that they are working on expanding the program this year. Students can take part in judo, arts and crafts and chess, among a list of other activities.
