Students and parents are backing Herbert H. Lehman High School's principal as he faces pressure to resign.During News 12 The Bronx's "Ask the Borough President" show, more than 12 parents called to voice concern over the "forced" resignation of Principal Robert Leder. They claim the Department of Education has given Leder little choice.
The principal is accused of mismanaging money. According to reports, two assistant principals were being paid hourly wages as football coaches, but didn't do the job.
Parents have said the 29-year veteran educator is not directly responsible for the problem. They plan to hold a rally March 6 at City Hall.
