A new bakery has opened in Bed-Stuy inspired by the treats Paris has to offer.

Je T-Aime Patisserie on 471 Marcus Garvey Boulevard provides a wide selection of products and a menu that changes every week.

Owner Jatee Kearsley told News 12 the bakery’s opening has been a year and a half in the making. She credits the city Small Business Services Office with helping her get through hurdles such as understanding the regulations that are needed to open a business.

"It does take a lot but if you're very persistent and it's something that you really, really want then you can make it happen because it's something I really, really wanted,” said Kearsley.

Kearley added she would like to open more bakeries around the city.
