After two years and $16 million, the Park Slope Armory has been converted to a state-of-the-art recreation center.
Brooklyn officials unveiled the center Tuesday during a ribbon-cutting ceremony. What had once been an unused building now boasts an Olympic-size indoor track, basketball courts, balcony seating and other sports equipment.
The facility will be open to the public, but will also serve neighborhood schools, like P.S. 10, that don?t have gym facilities.
