Parents are being warned about nannies who allegedly post fake profiles and references online to get a job in Park Slope.
The website Park Slope Parents serves 4,500 families in the borough, but founder Susan Fox says she noticed some nannies were posing as employers with fake references in order to land a job they may not be qualified for.
Fox says it's important to be aware of the issue and always check multiple references before meeting a prospective nanny in person.
