A Park Slope elementary school participated in a folk dance festival on Monday.
The festival, which is the culmination of three months of lessons and rehearsing, was held at P.S. 39 on Sixth Avenue.
More than 400 pre-K through fifth-graders performed cultural dances from Mexico, Holland, Russia, France, Israel and the United States.
There was also a history lesson for each of the dances.
Students say it was fun to learn to dance in a new way.
