The Department of Buildings posted a partial vacate order for a funeral home in Flatlands after a van slammed into the building on Monday morning, injuring three people.

The van was removed from the crash site at Andrew Torregrossa & Sons Funeral Home on Flatbush Avenue, revealing an approximate 9 x 8-foot hole in the wall, the DOB says. The area affected by the crash, “Chapel A,” was vacated.

Authorities say a 54-year-old man was driving the white commercial van on Fillmore Avenue just after 8:30 a.m. when he collided with another car and lost control, crashing into the funeral home.

EMS took the driver to the hospital in stable condition. Two others were hurt but turned down medical attention.
