Party supply stores helped Brooklyn residents ring in the new year with their needed party essentials.

The owners of "HAVIN' A PARTY," located at 9520 Avenue L, said they prepared for New Year's Eve for three months, making sure they had every party item possible for a New Year's celebration. Among the most popular items were $5 party glasses.

Last year, one person walked in and bought 2,000 balloons. It took hours to fill the order. There was extra help on hand today just in case.
