Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a person who shot a man Wednesday night in Gowanus.
Investigators say the suspect approached the 27-year-old victim at Sackett Street and 3rd Avenue and started a conversation with him. He then pulled out a gun and shot him in the right leg.
The victim was hospitalized and is expected to recover, according to authorities.
Police have since released footage of the suspect at the scene.
