One person is dead after being struck by an MTA bus.
According to police, a man in his 40s was hit in the middle of an intersection at Myrtle and Wyckoff avenues in Bushwick, which is right on the Queens border. It happened at around 5:15 a.m.
A transit worker on the scene says the bus involved was a Q58 that was making a right turn onto Palmetto Street when it hit the pedestrian.
A cab driver who also witnessed the accident says he drove after the bus because the driver didn't even realize he had hit someone.
Authorities say the investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have been made.
