A person of interest is in custody after police say a woman was shot at the Hotel Sunborn on New Jersey Avenue in Cypress Hills.
The NYPD says the 26-year-old was shot in the right side of her torso just before 2:45 a.m. on New Year’s Day.
EMS took her to One Brooklyn Health-Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center in stable condition, according to police.
No official arrests have been made.
