Outdoor enthusiasts have two more spots to enjoy in Brooklyn.
Pier 2 and Pier 4 opened this afternoon at Brooklyn Bridge Park.
The new five-acre waterfront park at Pier 2 is equipped with five basketball courts, handball, a roller skating rink and bocce.
Pier 4's beach also opened this afternoon. It is an area for boating as well as a protected bird habitat.
The parks are free and open to the public.
