Local leaders came together Saturday to officially open a new Brooklyn waterfront park.
Pier 6 Parkland at Brooklyn Bridge Park is complete with fields of flowers, walking paths and green lawns.
Officials say the park took about five years and more than $20 million from city funds to create.
They say the park will be open seven days a week.
