Michael Scott , owner of Pigeons on Broadway, fell in love with the birds at a young age. Now, he's the "Pigeon Guy” who can count at least 20 other coops within five miles of his Bushwick shop.

Pigeons were trusted and beloved pets for hundreds of years across the world, including Brooklyn.
They were bred and trained as messengers and even used in wars. Partly because they're so intelligent - they have an "internal GPS" that allows them to fly back to you from hundreds of miles away.
Michael Scott , owner of Pigeons on Broadway, fell in love with the birds at a young age. Now, he's the "Pigeon Guy” who can count at least 20 other coops within five miles of his Bushwick shop.
"Anyone who spends time with pigeons just knows you get hooked," said Scott.
Scott has a personal rooftop coop that Mike Tyson is known to frequent.
