? Some Prospect Park residents feel plans for a new skating rink are on thin ice.
The community is voicing concerns about increased traffic and the possibility of the current Wollman Rink being closed for construction of the new facility. Park officials say they do not plan to close Wollman Rink until the new complex is built, which may contain up to two rinks. Officials say it will also free up the view, which is currently obstructed.
The city says it has raised $23 million of the $37 million needed to complete the project.
