Storm Watch Meteorologist Meredith Garofalo says showers return on Monday – and then the big cooldown rolls in for the rest of the week.

SUNDAY: Partly cloudy but still nice, with more clouds into the afternoon. Highs: mid- to upper-60s. Lows: upper-40s.

MONDAY: On and off showers with mostly cloudy skies through the day. Isolated storms possible near the Sound Shore.  Highs: mid-60s. Lows in the 40s, upper-30s further north.

TUESDAY: Stray shower early, then more sun later in the day. Much cooler. Highs:  mid-50s. Lows in the 30s or low 40s.

WEDNESDAY:  A frosty start for some, then sunny and cool. Highs: mid-50s. Lows in the 30s.

THURSDAY:  A frosty start for some, then sunny and cool. Highs: mid-50s.  Lows near 37.
