One person was killed in a wrong-way crash along the Gowanus Expressway.

An SUV hit the guardrail while traveling in the wrong direction around 2:20 a.m., according to authorities.

Authorities say the 23-year-old driver was not hurt, but the passenger, 29, was pronounced dead shortly after being rushed to Lutheran Hospital around 3 a.m.
