Police
in Garfield say a 1-year-old infant was burned from a cup of coffee.
Officers
responded Wednesday around 8:45 a.m. to a residence on Malcom Avenue.
According to police, the
infant suffered second-degree burns to the upper right chest and upper right
shoulder.
It
was reported to police that a hot cup of coffee was sitting on top of the TV
