Police identified a 14-year-old boy who was fatally stabbed during a subway fight Saturday afternoon in New York City as a Yonkers resident.
It was at a Harlem train station where police say 14-year-old Ethan Reyes was stabbed to death by a 15-year-old whom he reportedly knew.
Investigators say an argument began between the two on the street at around 3 p.m. and continued into the train station.
A little more than a half hour later, Reyes, who lived on Young Avenue in Yonkers, was pronounced dead at a Manhattan Hospital.
Those who live in the quiet Yonkers neighborhood where he lived said they're shocked and saddened by the news of the teenager's death. Some even expressed fears for the safety of their own children whenever they leave the house.
Meanwhile, police say the 15-year-old in the Reyes killing is now charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
Detectives say they're not looking for any other suspects in the case.
