A 19-year-old is charged with trying to sexually assault a woman near Cummings Park in Stamford and is under investigation for another similar incident.
The incidents took place 15 minutes apart on July 5.
Juver Humberto Galicia-Rivera is accused of following a 67-year-old woman and assaulting her.
He faces several charges, including criminal attempt at sexual assault in the fourth degree, assault of an elderly person in the third degree and breach of peace in the second degree.
Police say that woman fractured her ankle trying to get away.
Police say the suspect tried to assault another woman but that he ran when she yelled.
Just minutes later, police say they received another call from a 40-year-old woman who was near the park. She said a man came up behind her and lifted up the back of her skirt.
Galicia-Rivera remains in custody on a $150,000 court-set bond and will be arraigned on July 18, should he fail to post bail.
